I can't say there isn't one floral designer who doesn't adore a backyard garden wedding. Suzy's mama is a fellow flower lover who works in a countryside greenhouse and this love spilled over into the dreamiest backyard full of blossoms and dinnerplate-sized hostas. Under the homemade arbor they spoke their 'I Do's' surrounded by family and June's natural beauty. With bridesmaids garbed in blushing pinks, we couldn't help but incorporate spring's blossoms into her arrangements. Wisconsin's early summers are perfumed with peonies and tulips and this is what we filled her wedding with. The blushes of the peonies, rice flower, tulips, and delicate tendrils of jasmine vine made for the most delightful bouquets. Just under the peaks of her white reception tent the tables were graced with sprigs of queen anne's lace, variegated pit, and giant peonies so perfectly bloomed out as if for the occasion. How can you be anything but joyful when your surrounded by the people you love and beautiful flowers?
